Heavy Tackle Marlin Season

Welcoming the newest addition to Topwater Sportfishing Charters — our luxury 84-foot Norman R. Wright & Sons motor yacht, WHITEHAVEN.
Norman Wright vessels are renowned worldwide, built to a standard — not a price — delivering exceptional craftsmanship, offshore capability, and long-range comfort. With WHITEHAVEN, we now have the capacity to travel further into truly remote waters while maintaining the highest level of onboard luxury.
WHITEHAVEN is available for our heavy tackle black marlin season on the Great Barrier Reef. Operating with a dedicated mothership transforms your GBR expedition into something far beyond a standard fishing trip. Each evening, guests return to five-star accommodation, spacious cabins with ensuites, and professionally prepared meals by our onboard chef — creating an experience that is as refined as it is adventurous.
Mornings can include optional diving or snorkelling before heading offshore in our two game boats to target heavy tackle black marlin. The mothership format allows us to comfortably accommodate up to eight guests, delivering both space and privacy while maintaining a premium fishing program.

Remote Sportfishing Expeditions

Operating with three dedicated sportfishing vessels, we cater for a maximum of eight guests per expedition — ensuring space, flexibility, and a premium on-water experience.
Destinations include iconic fisheries such as the Ribbon Reefs, Tydeman Reef, Bugatti Reef, and the remote waters of Torres Strait — just to name a few. Each location is carefully selected for its world-class GT, dogtooth tuna, and reef species opportunities.
Guests are accommodated across four luxury, air-conditioned staterooms, each featuring private ensuite facilities. The combination of remote exploration by day and refined comfort each evening creates an unforgettable sportfishing experience.
We also have detailed schedules available for the upcoming 2027 Northern Topwater Season, outlining expedition dates, locations, and availability.
